Hilton Family Woes: Barron Gets DUI
The Hiltons have done it again. This time it’s little brother Barron. This time HE has been arrested. Like his big sis Paris, he spent a day in jail before being released on bail. Authorities have confirmed 18-year-old Barron was arrested on charges of drink driving. Reportedly his blood-alcohol level was .14%. The California legal limit for someone over 21 years of age is .08%, but that for anyone under the age of 21 any blood-alcohol level is considered legally drunk
In addition to this misdemeanour charge, sources report he was also charged with carrying a fake California driver’s licence. (McLovin? What kind of name is McLovin?)
A press release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reads: “The younger brother of Paris Hilton was arrested for drunk driving by sheriff’s deputies Tuesday (02/ 12/ 08) morning in Malibu.” (Don’t forget Nicky Hilton…he’s related to her too!)
The statement claims another driver reported that “the driver of a black Mercedes-Benz was weaving on the roadway and at times driving on the wrong side of the highway.”
One of the last lines states: “Hilton had a female passenger in the vehicle. Apparently the female was driving the Mercedes prior to Hilton and was possibly involved in a collision.”
His father, Rick Hilton, said in a statement: “I haven’t been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say - but it will be to my son, not the media.”
Oh yeah Rick…you are known for your superb parenting.
