Lady Gaga flips off CitiField

Maybe Lady Gaga should stick with the Yankees.

Photos showed the pop music star in the Citi Field crowd Thursday, making an obscene gesture during the opener of a day-night doubleheader between the New York Mets and San Diego Padres.

It was unclear what prompted the obscene gesture from a luxury suite. The Mets say the singer did not attend the second game.

Turns out that the prime real estate, a stone’s throw (or dip spit) away from the press box, was too close for comfort and she asked to be moved. Whether irked by her vacating the best seat in the house or arriving halfway through the fifth inning, Mets heads showered her with a wave of boos.

Known for her wild wardrobe and songs such as “Paparazzi,” Lady Gaga grew up in New York going to Yankees games with her father. She was in town this week for her sister’s high school graduation.
