Comedian Spotlight: Anne Neczypor

Anne Neczypor is a fresh young voice for the new generation of lesbians. Called “hilarious” by Time Out New York, she irreverently recounts her tales of woe in the world of women, declaring that: “Girls just want to have girls,” and how!  Commanding the stage like the true performer she is, it’s no surprise this graduate of NYU’s drama program, and one of the original “Lesbians of Laughter,” was nominated for an NYC MAC award after her first year performing stand-up.  She can be seen performing regularly at comedy shows all over the city.  She has been featured on “Hot Gay Comics” and writes a weekly blog entitled “Pretty Witty And…”   (anneneczypor.blogspot.com) about life as a struggling single in the big gay city.  Calling herself a “chapstick lesbian” she accurately defines her role, somewhat out of place, in the confines of the once-true “Lesbian” stereotype.
