Wacky Waikiki
So week two in Hawaii and now we have left the gorgeous North Shore of O’ahu for the swanky sandy strip known as Waikiki.
I think we were all like kids in the proverbial candy store when we got to ‘town’ (as the locals call it). It was as if we had been away from civilization for months or years.
At any rate, we have been shooting all week at this estate, high above Honolulu. It has the most spectacular views, a bamboo forest and a stunning pond (all of which you will see in Season 3).
I have spent the entire week interviewing actors (and everyone seems so surprised by my interview prowess…have they not heard of “here! with Josh & Sara?”)…and it has been a blast. Each and every one of them had such nice things to say about the show, their fellow cast members, Sam Irvin the director and, of course, the network itself.
We also had on-set visitors…the Ginch Gonch boys. They were here interviewing cast members too…only the GG Boys were dressed (or undressed ) in their snazzy underwear. Boy oh boy, it is not bad enough that I have to deal with Riechen, Charlie, Jon, Greg, Jensen & Greg but now these two, too?
(By the way, if you do not know what Ginch Gonch underwear is, it is like Underoos for adults.)
Anyway, I guess I will mosey over to craft services for some Cheetos and a coke…C’est la vie, n’est-ce pas?
