Steven Bereznai

On Friday we posted a show with author Steven Bereznai who spoke with us about his book “Gay and Single…Forever?” It takes a look at how society views single gays has changed over the years and why it’s still okay if you enjoy your single life.

It’s an interesting read and you should definitely check it out.

 See you next week,

So I just listened to The Gay Blades interview - very disappointing. Why would you have this group on? They are making a mockery of gay people - they aren’t gay! Duh…

  2. Clifford Says:

I don’t agree with the notion that the single gay man is a social pariah. A gay man who is single -voluntary or involuntary- is still single, and all this talk about why it’s okay to be single is glossing over the depressing fact that alienation and loneliness suck. I do agree that relationships aren’t for everybody, and sometimes being single is necessary for healing.

I used to think that being single was important and necessary, because of the pressures and BS associated with coupling. However, I also believe that people tend to be selfish and cold-hearted…and that isn’t good either. Indeed, intimacy can be found in all sorts of relationships. But isn’t love still important? Doesn’t sex become purely a physical and emotionless act if we just focus on just f*cking?
