Connecticut Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage

Friday the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled that gay and lesbian couples have the right to get married!

This makes Connecticut the third state, after Massachusetts and California, to grant equality when applying for marriage licenses, regardless of sexual orientation.

The ruling comes just a few weeks before Californians vote on a historic gay-marriage ballot question, the first time the issue will be put before voters.
