Gay actor, George Takei, is honored with Asteroid
Thursday, October 4th, 2007George Takei, an out actor most noted for his portrayal as Mr. Sulu in the original Star Trek series, was recently honored by the International Astronomical Union’s Committee on Small Body Nomenclature with an asteroid which bears his name.
